Biography
beginning
I grew up in in a small city called Szentgotthárd, Hungary, on the border to Slowenia and Austria, where I received her first music lessons in the kindergarten. At the age of 14, I began to study as a young student at the Conservatory in Szombathely, in the class of Andrea Bertalan, flutist of the early music ensemble Capella Savaria.
Their vibrant, passionate, and historically informed performances continue to impress me to this day and had a profound impact on me at a young age.
studies
After graduating from high school, I moved to Switzerland to study music. I first studied for three years in the class of Prof. Christian Studler at the Bern University of the Arts. This was followed by another four years at the Zurich University of the Arts with Prof. Philippe Racine and Sabine Poyé-Morel. I completed both the Master of Performance and the Master of Pedagogy with the highest grades and distinction. Emily Beynon, Andrea Lieberknecht, and Michael Kofler have been a significant source of inspiration for me as well.
I am a prizewinner of numerous competitions and scholarships, including 1st Prize at the international competition I Solisti del Vento in Belgium, 2nd Prize at the Swiss Association of Music Competition (Kiefer-Hablitzel Foundation), 1st Prize at the Marguerite Meister Competition in Zurich, the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation Live Music Now, the LYRA Award for Young Talents, and the Fritz Gerber Foundation for Gifted Young People.

ORCHESTras
As a young student, I was a member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Animato Foundation, the Valiant Youth Orchestra, and the Verbier Festival Orchestra, where I had the privilege of performing under the baton of Charles Dutoit and Valery Gergiev. During my studies, I worked as an intern for one season with the Theater Orchester Biel-Solothurn and spent a year and a half regularly performing as the principal piccolo with the Swedish National Orchestra in Gothenburg. Additionally, I played as a substitute for several years with the Basel Chamber Orchestra, the Bern Symphony Orchestra, and the Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic.
Solo engagements led me to the DAVOS Festival, followed by temporary contracts with the Bremer Philharmoniker and the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. Collaborations with renowned conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Christoph Eschenbach, Iván Fischer, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Paavo Järvi, Kent Nagano, Daniel Harding, Antonio Pappano, Jakub Hrůša, Jesús López Cobos, and Michael Tilson Thomas have profoundly influenced my musical journey.
CONtemporary
From the very beginning, I was a highly versatile and creatively curious musician, experimenting with rarely performed formats. Improvisation with live electronics, guest appearances with the Ensemble Proton Bern, and collaborations with composers were also part of my daily routine. I performed the solo piece "Cadenza" by Péter Eötvös after working on it directly with the composer in the small hall of the Tonhalle Zurich. A particularly beautiful memory for her is the Kurtág Festival in Bern, after which the Hungarian composer Máté Balogh dedicated a piece to her. As a member of the CODA Wind Quintet for three years, I won 1st Prize at the New Music Competition in Zurich.

teaching
Since teaching has a long tradition in her family, it has always been natural for me to share my experiences with others. I particularly enjoy guiding young musicians on their way to a professional career. In this area, I worked for three years, at the age of just 25, as a lecturer at the Bern University of the Arts, as well as several times at the Crescendo Summer Academy in Tokaj, Hungary, and at the Frymon Festival in Tirana, Albania. Both performing on stage and teaching are my passions – every encounter is an opportunity to discover the power of music, connection through music, creativity, and self-expression.
present
Throughout my musical journey, I have had—and continue to have—the great privilege of learning from and collaborating with inspiring musicians. This exchange has shaped my artistic path to this day.
Since 2017, after several years holding the position of principal flute on temporary contracts, I have been working as the associate principal flutist in the Philharmonic Orchestra Bremerhaven. In addition, I regularly perform as a guest musician with ensembles such as the Bremer Philharmoniker, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and the German Radio Philharmonic (SR/SWR).
In 2023, I embarked on a new chapter by completing a yoga teacher training. The connection between movement, breath, and inner balance not only enriches my personal life but also inspires my work as a musician and educator. Today, I share my passion and knowledge as a certified Ashtanga-Vinyasa yoga teacher (RYS Yoga Alliance, 200h, YOMA Studio, Bremen) with great joy. Currently, I am deepening my expertise through an advanced yoga teacher training (Yoga Alliance 300h) with Anna Rossow in Hamburg.
