BodyMindMusicLab
What is BodyMindMusicLab?
BodyMindMusicLab emerged from my work as a musician and my long-term exploration of the body, breath and attention.
At its core is the question of how refined body awareness and a regulated nervous system can support concentration, coordination and artistic expression. The aim is to develop sustainable approaches that strengthen both performance and the enjoyment of making music, while supporting long-term health and motivation.
Today, I bring together my work as a musician, teacher and yoga instructor in an integrative approach that understands body, breath and perception as the foundation for a nuanced and resilient performance.
Work with me
1:1 Sessions
In the 1:1 sessions, I work with people on themes related to the body, breath, nervous system and yoga – in the context of musical practice or beyond.
The work develops from the individual concern and integrates elements of movement, breathwork and attention. This often leads to greater clarity, stability and a more nuanced way of relating to one’s own experience.
Yoga
My yoga classes are rooted in Ashtanga Yoga and complemented by functional movement work.
The practice is both dynamic and precise, continually bringing attention to the connection between movement, breath and awareness.
Over time, this develops into a sense of stability and clarity that extends beyond the practice and becomes noticeable in everyday life.
Flute Studio
Alongside my work as an orchestral musician, I work with players on the act of playing itself – and on developing from that an authentic, expressive sound and a personal musical voice.
Shaped by my work in the orchestra as well as in higher education contexts and masterclasses, I combine artistic precision with an approach that includes the body, the breath and inner experience.
The work often leads into areas that are less immediately visible in playing – and it is precisely there that presence and expression begin to shift.
Practice Library
The video courses take up key aspects of this work and make them accessible regardless of time and place.
They provide a structured framework to explore themes such as body awareness, breath and practice, and to deepen one’s own experience with them.
In this way, they offer a way to engage with the work at your own pace and gradually integrate it into daily life or instrumental practice.
